The Lakers weren't able to beat Cornell by 4 goals coming out of the gate, so I doubt that they do so now. My guess is that the Big Red score more than once.5-1 Mercyhurst. Thats my prediction.

Ooooooo, overtime.
We have come to love overtime in Ridder Arena.
But just 1 OT, or perhaps several?

Neither did BC on the road against Dartmouth in '07, a very deep offensive team. Based on their record, the Lakers have to be the favorite, not just in this game, but to win it all. However, I expect this game to be much more competitive than say BU@Mercyhurst. I don't buy the LakersFan math that shows MC winning 80-something % of the time. Something on the order of 60 % sounds closer to me. Ice' might be right that the Lakers are underrated defensively, but Cornell's goalie has slightly better numbers, not only in Save % but in GAA. I think it'll be a fun game to watch.I don't think Cornell has enough 'big game' experience to pull off that upset...
Cornell 4-3 in an upset that nobody but me sees coming. You heard it here first.
