^ QFT. At least when UND would lose to BC, they'd get blown out which actually stung less than this. UND seems to always be on the wrong end when it comes to dramatic wins...

Last time these teams met in the frozen four was pretty dramatic.

Edit: Oops, was confusing the 2005 Semifinal (not dramatic) with the 2007 Regional Final (dramatic).

Figured the ending of BC-Union couldn't be topped since that was pretty crazy. I was wrong.

Right now I do too. But that will probably pass sooner or later. :)

Can't be too in their face about this one since they were the better team for much of the game.

I just saw the replay again and Holl looked like he didn't know what to do, lol. I don't think he believed it happened either

The Hockey Gods have spoken. UND didn't deserve to best FSU, therefore they lost a game they probably deserved to win.

I'm hoping the Gods are asleep on Saturday.

What a game...Congratulations to Minnesota.

That could have certainly gone either way. I thought it was pretty even. I thought North Dakota had a slight edge overall as far as controlling play, but I thought Minnesota probably had the higher quantity of grade A chances. That being said, both teams had several, and both goalies played great. I'm sure some of the North Dakota guys will be seeing empty nets tonight, but the same could be said for Minnesota guys (although, they won't feel so bad about it :)).

At the end of the day, it was a great way to add to the rivalry. I wish the result would have been different, but not much else.

Again, Congratulations to Minnesota. You guys have a hell of a team, and good luck against Union.

I was just happy Minny had survived the 3rd and was heading for a chance in OT....felt like we stole one getting that far.
Winning late was Ocean's 11 like larceny...

5 guys after the goal (the faceoff with 0.6 seconds). Not when the goal was scored. It was a good goal. I don't think the Gophers ever touched the puck after the draw though, so it would have just been a delayed call when the final horn blew. Didn't impact the result.

How about all the times that the Sioux had too many men on the ice tonight and it didn't get called? Buccigross and Melrose pointed that out at least a few times.

Not really important is it? It was a great game. Why tarnish it by turning it into a ******ing match about too many men. We did it numerous times during the game. Pretty irrelevant at this point.
