while you are in town for the games, feel free to grab a bite at Kayuga if you visit bu and the wonderful, majestic agganis arena in west campus. they have a bowl of dum-dums at the register and Sue is more than happy for you to help yourself (mookie is a root beer fan and likes the butterscotch too).

Controlled studies have shown that players with an ACT score of 8 can still figure out which net to put the puck in. With Canadians, it's lower.

I knew it existed, but I never took the ACT. My wife took the ACT and never the SAT; she's from the midwest. Was weird. Also, the whole "soda" thing. It's SODA, DAMMIT!

So your wife took the ACT but not the ACT? Remarkable and thus I think proof that it is in fact POP.

I have limited my soda intake. Basically the only time I drink it is when I go to Costco and get the hot dog combo deal. $1.50 for a hot dog and a soda? Yes!

No it ain't. It's soda pop. Soda is that white power for putting out oven fires or when you need an antacid in a pinch. The guy with huge muscular arms is on the yellowy box. His name is Armand Hammer. :D Now, pop is also insufficient; it was said that's simply the noise when you open the bottle or can.

Hope your wife from the midwest doesn't water down your offspring gene pool . . .:eek: Beware that those ACT scores may slide, man . . . though something tells me you are brighter than flatlander . . .

This cracked me up:

Candidates must:
• Exhibit strength and character, both on and off the ice?
• Contribute to the integrity of the team?
• Display outstanding skills in all phases of the game?

What is with the question marks? :)

As it's Orthodox Good Friday that day, I can go to the Hobey ceremony and then hop on the Orange line and head to the Annunciation Cathedral at the next stop for church. I love it when a plan comes together!

Actually that's a good point, though. I HOPE that nobody coming in from ND or Omaha is planning on renting a car. There is no need to (in addition to the fact that you may get killed if you attempt to drive here). Anything you need to see is accessible via public transportation and/or walking (unless you wanted to take Friday and go to the Cape or Maine, and it looks like it will be too cool for that - low 40s).

You've obviously never been to Grand Forks, ND. If it's Low 40s, the UND fans will be the people walking around in shorts!
