Hometown bias aside, I've been to about about 60 different midsize arenas across the country and MTU offers one of the best views anywhere. That goes for both the stands and the press box.

Sorry, Little inside joke here. I didnt literally want to know the view from the Ice Center in Houghton. Ive been there many times, and have yet to find a bad seat in the house, except right next to that ****ing band.

I'm gonna trust this guy. He has a pretty good view.

I sit three rows behind the visitor's bench and since the CFB happened right there I had a clear view of it. As soon as it happened I thought "oh poop, he's gonna call a 5 min. major." It was the correct call.

The Cats need some lucky breaks early tonight to give them something to build on.

I believe I heard in the post game that he now has the NMU record for GWG in overtime.

Great weekend of evenly-matched hockey, but it would have been disappointing to not get at least 3 points.

Now it's time for the 'Cats to reload and be ready for the next 2 weeks, @ LSSU next week and then hosting that other UP hockey school the week after. 2 weeks of rivalry hockey...

Now it's time for the 'Cats to reload and be ready for the next 2 weeks, @ LSSU next week and then hosting that other UP hockey school the week after. 2 weeks of rivalry hockey...

Definitely a fine hockey fan weekend.

My biggest regret is not seeing it.

errrgg i had decided long ago i would be satisfied with a split in Marquette but it's always a bummer to win the first game and not get the sweep. OT losses are always disappointing as well.

The ol' game winner off the spartan stick strikes again? This hasn't happened yet this year but seemed to plague us last year.

Oh well, always rather liked northern. Try and beat Miami for us.

The B2 feed is through the Sports and Special Events class. With the class ending this week, Im not sure how the next B2 feed will look. I have heard that it may continue after winter break on a volunteer basis.
