Actually Tech was a good source of heartbreak for us when CC was first re-emerging as a strong program under Lucia...anyone remember Jamie Ram??? We sure as hell do!!

Yes I remember Jamie Ram. I was in J section of the old Broadmoor World Arena in 1993 when the Tigers, who had been the bottom dwellers of the WCHA for years, swept Minny the first weekend at home under Lucia's first year. Wow! The Tigers ended up winning the MacNaughton Cup that year, then then won the next two.

Jamie Ram actually stood on his head for the 1st round of the WCHA playoffs in 93/94, winning the best of 2 of 3 and knocking CC out of the NCAA's despite winning the regular season. That year was the end of the Broadmoor World Arena, the home of the first eleven NCAA championships.

I've been attending CC games since the mid 70's, when Owens was a goalie.

I bet Tech will knock CC out again this weekend.

I think this sums it up pretty well. They looked like they would rather be somewhere else last night. I'm hopeful that the little skirmish at the end will have them a little more energized for tonight. But at this point, we have to win, what, 5 straight to even get into the tourney? Ha...

I'm not normally one for saying anything positive about the refs, but kudos to them for not overreacting there at the end. There were definitely punches thrown and nobody got booted from tonight's game.

I've been attending CC games since I was 8 years old. I'm a CC Alum and 13 year season ticket holder. Not next year. I'm done with CC so long as Scotty Owens is their head coach. They are poised to be the cellar dweller in the NCHC and there's no reason to watch this program fall into a tailspin and become as sorry as it was before Lucia arrived. I hope CC fans will join me in emailing Ken Ralph and demand a better coach and better product. :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Since you were 8 years old? That exlplains it. We are going to take a fan vote next week. I suspect you won't be invited back. It sucks to lose and the first goal was absolute garbage. That said, stop crying and go get laid or something. I'm sick of it dude.

You'll never get rid of me! At least not until Owens is gone @ CC. When they fire his sorry A-S-S I'll leave the board for good. Unfortunately you know as well as I do that they'll never send the old windbag packing. If you're sick of me now you'll be terminally ill by the time I'm done. This is the worst CC team in nearly 20 years and I'll be ****ed if they get worse without me making some noise about it.

I would like to ask MTU fans to help us take out the trash. Some of our ****** bag fans need to grow the **** up.

I understand wanting to win. I understand being upset with coaches and even occasionally players. That said, anyone that says they aren't going to be a fan anymore can suck it. We won't miss you. Go jump on some other bandwagon. I go to every game, win or lose and I sit through the whole thing. The defects should look at our home record this season and feel lucky. CC gave you a good show. If you pull your head out of your *** you will realize it was worth every penny.

I'm the first to admit that I'm disappointed, we all are. Criticize the coach all you want but real fans don't put conditions on team loyalty. Either you come to the games to support your team or you don't. If you don't, stop posting here. Your opinion is irrelevant.

Also, congratulations to Tech and good luck the rest of the way. The refs were really bad but you can't hold that against the players or fans. The luck of the draw I guess.
