We are playing a team that is 323 and 680 since returning to the WCHA in 1985. A team that has had only two winning seasons in the last 27 years. While admittedly much-improved this year under Coach of the Year Pearson, they are still a below .500 club. If Tech wins, it will be their biggest victory since 1975. DU has not done itself proud this afternoon. Win or lose, kudos to Mich Tech for a strong game. That said... LET'S STICK IT TO THESE GUYS !
They had a run in the late 90's with Jamie Ram playing goal. You're wrong about this being their biggest victory since 1975 if it had occurred. I guess your team won anyway so it doesn't matter.
Just thinking JZ didn't have a point. But he got a big one!
Tech had a run in the late '90s? When specifically? I don't remember them being a factor in '98-'99
'94 (knocked off WCHA regular season winner CC which caused a change to the autobid rules) and '97 (made it to the final game of the F5 behind Jarkko Ruutu of all farking people.)
I'm going to punch a Girl Scout in the kidneys.
I predict Tech will be a force in the new WCHA.
Tech always seems to stick it to CC. They did it in 94 in the last series at the old Broadmoor, then in 2007 I think they beat CC....and now this season.
