They had a run in the late 90's with Jamie Ram playing goal. You're wrong about this being their biggest victory since 1975 if it had occurred. I guess your team won anyway so it doesn't matter.

Knocking off CC in the cement toilet was probably as big as winning this game would have been. Either way, it's just good to see them clawing their way back. Back in the day, Johnny Mac used to platoon Tony Esposito for cripes sake! He'd play on Fridays and someone who didn't win multiple Vezinas would play on Saturdays.

The one problem with Salazar's game lately is that he can't seem to score in crucial situations.
And I'll say it now: Tech's second goal was a llittle soft. Juicy let it go in between his arm and the pipe. However, he was so strong, so good for most of the game, I shouldn't have mentioned it. And am sorry I did.

'94 (knocked off WCHA regular season winner CC which caused a change to the autobid rules) and '97 (made it to the final game of the F5 behind Jarkko Ruutu of all farking people.)

Ahh, the old Broadmoor. I have not so fond memories of climbing that ladder to get up into the press box--and skulling myself more than once by jumping up after a DU goal. On the other hand, I had my first experience with an expense account at the hotel, and I was a fast learner.
We were playing in the Walter Brown tournament one holiday season. Murray had the team staying in the rooms they used to have in the rodeo arena--keep the boys safely hidden away. Anyhow, we were having a little apres hockey get together in Tom Miller's room. And he was especially anxious to get us out of there for some reason. It may have been because Tom's wife was along for the trip and. . .
