How do we do it? We just hope the offense can somehow tack 2 on the board for a tie, or 3 for a win because Hildy is pretty consistent. Unfortunately that hope does not get rewarded most of the time.
Way to stick with itAgainst my better judgement I do plan on going tonight. I can think of many years where we were significant underdogs in this matchup, but would adopt a "we much protect this house" mentality and find a way to win. After the game in January I hope we see some of that tonight.
Given the law of averages I don't think Michigan will get all of the breaks they got last night but I think they are a better team than the one we saw in the GLI consolation. Just showing up isn't going to get it done. Let's hope there are some students to help them at least get off to a good start.
Final series of the year starts in about 19 hours. Not much news this week, so I guess we'll find out the goaltender situation tomorrow. I think I posted this in the game thread last week, but start Hildy Friday, Yanakeff on senior day and see who does better for the job in St. Paul. I fear Hildebrand may have some fatigue from playing all but two games this year.
But how many of them did he finish?
