Then you might also like Double Indemnity....directed by Billy Wilder. McMurray, Barbara Stanwyck, Edward G. Robinson.

Note clip in post immediately prior to yours. Everything about that movie is brilliant.

So they remain after the gas is used?

Yes. They would still be in the tank. All of the fuel that had evaporated as the liquid fuel was being used would still be there to some extent. Yeah, the tanks are vented, but they don't force air into tanks to displace the fuel vapors.

IIRC before you start the engines on a boat, you need to run blowers to clear the fumes before hitting start.

Otherwise, there could be a big kaboom.

Ghost Ship illustrates this extremely graphically.

Re: MOVIES: New Ideas Welcome!

The trailer for "It" scared the crap out of me. I loved it. I always wished they had made this movie instead of the one they did, I loved that story so much in high school.

IT is awesome. Haven't checked out the trailer for the new one...

And honestly, for the mini-series, they did a good job, considering budget and that fact it was a tv thing.

I just learned it will be a two-part, with the sequel covering events in adulthood. Seems like a great way to cover the novel.
