No, its cause you are old and say old man things. :^p I mean you hate everything made after 1963 ;^)

You can try and justify it in your brain all you like...but you make my 70+ year old father sound like a Zoomer with some of your takes buddy!

Watched West Side Story on Sunday. I liked it. Didn't love it. The girl who plays Anita is (rightfully so) nominated for Supporting Actress and has already won a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for it. She's great. The actor that plays Riff is just as good but has received no recognition that I'm aware of. The girl who plays Maria looks very young, has an amazing singing voice and has chemistry with everyone in the cast EXCEPT for the guy cast as Tony. Ansel Elgort literally has anti-charisma.

TBH Richard Beymar had anti-charisma, too. I guess it's a tradition for the role.

Warren Beatty was considered for the role in 1961. That's a very different movie.
 
uncharted was entertaining. Like national treasure 3 if it wasn’t confined to the states.

My wife and I watched Nightmare Alley. I loved it, she hated it. I'm going to have to go out and track down the original. Can't believe I've never seen it before.

I don’t know about Tom Holland as Nathan but I’ll reserve judgment until I see it. However, I do not like Mark Wahlberg as Victor Sullivan. Horrible casting in that role.

Bette Davis as Julie Marsden in "Jezebel" tomorrow morning at 8. She was perfect for the role, and vice versa, and won the best actress Oscar for 1938.
