We are prolonging the plague by continually recycling it and hosting it and giving it more warm bodies to mutate in, and eventually it will land on a variant that kills us.

If we had shut down 100% the first week it would have lasted less than a month.

Good for you that you can keep this up... Unfortunately, I, like many others, have really struggled with the isolation of the past two years. But I'm done sitting stuff out because others are morons...

Im going to take measures to protect myself. But at this point, Darwin is in control. The odds are in my favor when I specifically pick and choose my spots. I'm not doing this every day. But seeing Spider-Man: NWH yesterday in a full IMAX theatre with a raucous, involved crowd was something that I deeply missed. And also something that I needed.

If that were the case I'd be right along side you. But the problem is the longer this runs the higher a price worthwhile people are paying. We are the ones paying for hospitals being overwhelmed, and our teachers being thrown into a viral pit with the children of the stupid.

If we didn't have to pay the price I would let the Dumpies run their body count as high as possible. But as always gorilla idiocy will cause problems for the human portion of the electorate. If you can find a way to pen them off so they don't affect us then yes, I will support your right to watch Ow My Balls from the live studio audience.

Rave? I didn't go to raves when I was of the proper age to do so ;^)

I have gotten 3 shots, my risk is quite minimal if I choose to go to a movie or a sporting event. (masked of course) My parents also have gotten 3 shots so their risk is minimal if I go and then see them. Same with girlfriends family. Same with the majority of my friends. I am not going to live my life fearing getting unvaxxed fuckwits sick. I did my job, I made my sacrifices for society, time for me to live my life as I choose. If I get sick I should be ok.

But us paying the price isn't changing anything. You are advocating we do exactly what you rip the Dems for doing...playing by the rules when the other side won't. We are only hurting ourselves and not gaining anything from it. It is ok to start to resume your life...

If every vaxxed person stays home the virus will still mutate, it will still kill people and people still won't follow all of the rules. Unless all the unvaxxed/anti-maskers die off this will never end no matter how we play this anymore. There is no scenario where COVID isn't a part of our lives for the next several years if not forever. The question becomes how long do we sacrifice when our sacrifices aren't getting us anywhere?

Look if Omicron was killing like Delta did and if boosters weren't effective you would have a point. Then there is a risk for us as well. But if we are taking the right precautions and if we are vaxxed then fuck the d-bags I am going on vacation to Mexico tomorrow.

The Matrix Resurrections

I'd give it a 3/5. Nothing real groundbreaking, like the original was. But solid, and has some fun call backs and cameos.

Yikes. Glad I can stream it free thanks to my cable package.

I thought I heard mixed reviews of Don't Look Up, but I may give it a shot. Netflix seems to be the king of "eh, this isn't that terrible" movies with big name casts as of late.
