This stinks of the studio convincing Collins to write another story so they can make a film for it. I can't speak to quality cause I never read any of those books ;^)

I thought FB was a book but I guess it was probably just stuff mentioned in the other books or something cause she has answers when I ask her questions after she drags me to the films. (only FB films...I have seen maybe 3 hours of the main Potter films total including the ending) Honestly I tune the GF out when she talks Potter much like she tunes me out when I discuss my weird nerdy stuff. We both tune out our friends that gush over Marvel Films/TV ;^)

The Songbirds book focuses on the young life of the Big Bad from the first set of books. It suffers from a complete lack of suspense that plagues almost all prequels.

The Fantastic Beasts movies are based upon the character who wrote one of the textbooks used by the kids in Harry Potter’s era, and wraps itself in the events mentioned about Dumbledore’s younger days. There is a published book of FB, but it’s written as a textbook, from the couple pages I read at Barnes & Noble. While we know the outcome of the Dumbledore events, there’s no knowing if the Newt Scamander lead will finish the series missing an arm or something when he wins the final battle.

It was bad enough when Hollywood was just pandering to our lowest common denominator...now they pander to everyone who has a computer and goes on social media. Gotta make sure China isn't mad because 1.5 billion people is a lot of revenue!

The portion of the national debt owned by China isn't our biggest risk to the country, it's the corporate profits that must be made by entities that don't have a constitution to follow.
 
Mosul a film about an Iraqi SWAT team gone rogue while trying to finally expel the last remaining vestiges of ISIS in 2016 Mosul. Based upon a true story it’s very engaging and adrenaline inducing, was not overly clich?d and it was interesting to watch a war film from the perspective of other peoples not draped in the Stars & Stripes or “hoorah”.
 
I saw plenty of films with Moviepass...the problem was it was easy for cheaters to game the system for the big blockbuster films which caused a massive cascade of failures. Avengers: Endgame was the end of the line for that service.

Its just the Lucas Disciples having their moment. There is a group like this for everything. They beg for attention. Then they love to pick fights (which is what this is attempting to do) because they have nothing better to do. Star Wars has some of the worst of these groups...
