One of the trailers we saw yesterday was The Last Voyage of the Demeter. Intrigued, I did a little nosing around to find some info and found it's based on The Captain's Log, a chapter in Bram Stoker's Dracula novel. It opens in Aug.

I give it an A; pretty good vampire movie. My daughter and granddaughter(she likes horror movies)both liked it. When The Nun 2(part of the Conjuring Universe)trailer came on they were making plans to see that.

City Lights gets better each time I see it.

It should be in the discussion for best movie ever made.
I've gotten hooked on silent film comedies. Chaplin, Lloyd, Keaton. Had one taped with Arbuckle in it that was pretty good. Keep an eye out for TCM Silent Sunday Nights.

Watching 'The Strong Man'(Frank Capra's debut)on youtube. It'll take 3 hours to watch a 1 hour movie because I'm in work and everybody wants something.

Langdon reminds me of Stan Laurel.

????

TBH, I don't have the Fever but Yaaas, Queen!

Actually China plays that role. Post Pandemic, very few American movies are getting release dates over there.

I thought we made all our movies with them in mind now, with entire sections of movies shot around Chinese characters and subplots which are ignored in the US releases, while many of ours are ignored in theirs.

I cant wait for the red state release of Barbie in which the Patriarchy wins and Barbie finds Jesus and gets a boob job.
