I've heard a lot of good and I'll be be honest, I find it almost impossible to think a sequel of top gun could be good. It just defies belief.

I thought the same thing...I was wrong! It is really good and I get why some say it is better than the original.

I mean, I thought the original was merely cromulent. But if you take 80s/early 90s movies as a baseline, it was cromulent plus. But I think most of what came out of the 80s/early 90s blows.

You have plenty of Disney Afternoon fare to browse from =)

Handy, Give it a shot. The trailers really didn't do this justice. If you can appreciate ROGER RABBIT, you will appreciate this.

I am high as Giraffe ***** and this is not good. Roger Rabbit is 1000 times better than this and looks better too. They don't even meld all the cartoons and reality right. It looks like a bad youtube edit.

And don't get me started on the voices...

Im gonna finish...but im already hate watching. Ten minutes of forced cameos is a loooooooooooooong time.

I will come to your snow-covered barn and tack a picture of Molly Ringworm to your forehead, you philistine.

Yeah he's forgetting all of the great 80s comedies. There's the kind-of-rapey-in-retrospect high school comedy, the kind-of-rapey-in-retrospect college comedy, and the kind-of-rapey-in-retrospect people-in-their-20s comedy. Ahhh, simpler times.

It's like...people just don't get that rape was the essence of 70s/80s comedy! If we can't laugh at sexual assault our enemies win!!

Plus the soundtracks wailed!

Honestly, very little came out of the 80s worthwhile save for some of the people I know. Art, clothes, music, movies, politics, pretty much everything about the 80s blew.

(there are exceptions in all of those, but generally, no.)

Your opinions are sad and you are sad! ;^)

I will take the 80s over almost anything that has come out this century.

This is ridiculous but I'll allow it as a sign of youth. I used to believe the 1970s were a cultural wasteland, and I have since repented.
