he, he, he... But they have something that SCSU fans don't have, they have a banner that isn't for NCAA tourney participation. in other words they have actually won a NCAA title.

You misunderstand jdubbs, he's not in love with you but that has nothing to do with you personally he just doesn't enjoy women's company intimately speaking. Just relax because you can't turn him, he has his eyes set on Goldy and nothing is going to change that.

JT Miller and Steffan Mateau are absolute studs! They are going to be stars in the NHL and two of my favorite non Gophers.:D

gophs did struggle at michigan state in what looked like it had to be the smallest rink in the country.. but if the gophers struggle in nodak im not expecting it to be from the size of the rink. if they struggle itll likely be because they didnt come out hard. gophers can play just as physical as the sioux and have a speed and skill advantage. in Oct. they also wanted it more. hope thats still the case. anything can happen when these 2 play but the gophs have went 5-3-1 in the last 9 against the sioux and with the siouxs battered roster, i have a hard to favoring them against the gophers, even at home.

And they are acting like breaking through to win one amounts to having a legit program that doesn't suck most of the time. To put things in perspective, UND has the same number of national titles as Duluth has NCAA appearances. Their program is still something like 20 games under .500 for its history. There's a word for that, and it's "mediocre". Take it from me: I'm an expert on mediocrity after having witnessed the past four seasons of Gopher hockey. Most of Duluth's history has been equal to or worse than that level of performance.

When you get a little older, you'll develop a similar sense of perspective.

Assuming Duluth finishes this season over .500 (very safe assumption), it'll be the first time they've had four straight years over .500 since the '82-'83 through '85-'86 seasons - which is likely a period that ended before many of your school's posters were even born. Of course, I wouldn't expect your school's ***hat fans on this board to recognize that fact or to fully know their own team's generally dismal to middling history in the WCHA. So by all means, intrude upon our threads and chirp about your one ****ing title and the current unbeaten streak. We're all happy for ya. Just don't expect us to act like your program is anything more than a flash in the pan until there's a much longer track record of success to back it up.

Right now, you're basically on par with Northern Michigan (actually, they're a little bit better than you with one more NCAA appearance and an overall record over .500).

Listen, I know you're all Brenthurt and everything, but you do know I haven't said anything about our title OR our unbeaten streak in this thread, right? I've mostly talked about MY PANTIES. (Just for Wes!)

I'm incapable of being "Brenthurt" - whatever that means.

My series of responses is geared toward dropsoap or droppass or dropacid and others like him/her - people who come into the thread, ask us to keep talking about how much our teams suck, and who prominently display the same boring signature of "2011 national champions" or something similar - just in case we forgot who won the title last April.

Oh, and you'd probably make Wes vomit if you said you've decided to forego the panties and go commando from now on.
