Subjective? How so? Tell me exactly how heckling someone is on the same level as throwing a full beverage on a child. Please.

But yes, no matter how many, they should be kicked out. I seem to remember a vast outpouring of apologies from Gopher fans on here after that incident as well, proclaiming those few people to be morons and not real fans, etc. The response from GF seems to be more along the lines of, "Everyone else does it, what's the big deal?"

you must be reading what you want to hear then... i think most posters on here are true fans and do not tolerate this type of behavior

You're basing this statement off of what was written in the comments section of the Herald article, not what the Sioux fans are saying on here.

That's not exactly comparing Apples to Apples either now, is it? :p :)

It isn't. How many other examples do you have of this sort of behavior happening? If Sioux fans are so much worse than Gopher fans, you should have no problem citing all sorts of examples. You're the one who insists Sioux fans are the terrible ones therefore the burden is on you to show you are correct.

The comments section of newspapers is absolutely worthless. People will defend just about anything in those things.

this is stupid.... I saw a goofer fan throw beer on a whole bunch of duluth fans last year at F5.... it sucks that it happened to you but to insinuate that Sioux fans do this type of behavior at a much higher level than goofer fans is really showing your biased views

Umm, you're the one that said that Gopher fans were apologizing on here about the Tech incident. And yet you're basing your opinion of what Sioux fans think based upon what is written in a newspaper article comments section. :confused:

No, the response from Grand Forks is, "It happens at every arena so stop with the holier then thou attitude." Not one fan on here has defended it. Goon is a largely biased fan and his article blasted the fans doing that. Just because you haven't seen it at the Mooch doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I've never seen any incidents that you or any other Gopher fan describe happening at The Ralph, however, I am not naive enough to say it doesn't happen. I can't keep track of almost 12,000 people, just like you can't keep track of 10,000+

My .02 on the Goon blog.

Why is UND selling student tickets to the general public? Why would someone be dumb enough to sit in the other teams students section with their wife and 4 year old? I am sorry but foul language is going to come out of young adults mouths especially after they have been drinking. I agree 100% they should not be going in a person's personal space or doing threatening behavor of any kind. Chanting the "F" the Gophers is not that big of a deal. I have three kids I take to SCSU games and let tehm knwo it is not ok to use fould language even though the students do. It's a good teaching moment as a parent. you can't protect your kids from everything.

The reason it does not happen at Mariucci is pretty simple, wealthy old people have waited 20+years to obtain seats there and they don't want to lose it because he or she doesn't want to be a fool.

If not all the student tickets are sold by a certain time they open them up to the general public. Plus, there are students who will get student tickets to games like this with no intention of going to the games. They'll just plan on selling them to the highest bidder...
