Re: MN Golden Gophers @ UND Sioux: Arrogant vs Offensive!

Let's see, the Sue have a school administration disrespectful to Native Americans...

Really? The Spirit Lake Sioux tribe in ND would tend to disagree with you.
But you would probably know more about the matter, I'm sure. :p

Woog bashing. Everyone's favorite sport.

Anyone know if he's doing the telecasts this year? I heard he may not be.

Re: MN Golden Gophers @ UND Sioux: Arrogant vs Offensive!

Pillar of the Gaypher community Doug Woog.
http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1G1-62626265.html

Below is only the first time he got caught and he handled it like all UM
players/coaches/fans handle everything "In an emotional appearance before the media" i.e. crying, whining, fist pounding

http://www.uscho.com/news/college-hockey/id,921/MinnesotaHeadCoachSuspended.html

I would add the video of Hirsch the Brain Hearse but everyone has seen that fiasco.
UM players have been arrested on booze charges making them disrespectful of civil laws, alcohol, UM mascot carries disease, and as a part of the Sioux fan base I am a military veteran so I can dance the macabre during the anthem and still be regarded as more respectful to this country than most gaypher fans. Still unconvinced? Let's try for a felony gaypher drug charge with Heroin Hagemo.

Nice program.
So your position is Woog makes the choking gesture to the refs face, and that is equal to Hakstol giving the finger behind the refs back? Hmmm.

Your next example is a coach floating a kid $500 so he can pay for his tuition? Wow! The gall of Coach Woog. Breaking the rules? Yes. Honorable gesture? I think yes as well.

Finally, you provide us with an example of a player long gone from the program. Well it looks to me that his time spent as a Gopher hockey student/athlete kept him out of trouble. So what's the problem? He reverted back to his ways once the well rounded support of the Gopher hockey program could no longer guide him. I can see why. ;)

The Gophers have their own issues but your attempt to even the score was an epic fail. Then again, you haven't contributed much in the few posts you've been able to muster. Better luck next time.

It is awesome when fans of a team who say this, talk about how UND's Administration disrespects Native Americans.

skiumah2's position on the Hakstol incident is awesome. So if Hak would've flicked Adam off to his face, it would all be OK!

Even better is Dirty's implied Woog bashing. Gotta love hockey season.

Yes, that's exactly what I said and meant. You're reading comprehension is on vacation as usual. Or you knew exactly what I meant, and decided to be a tool about it. Either way, quintessential Dirty right there.

Re: MN Golden Gophers @ UND Sioux: Arrogant vs Offensive!

If Wooger didn't want me bashing him he should have thought of that 13 years ago before he made a choking gesture. It's not my fault Dougie showed no foresight.

Woog screwed up and you justify if by saying well Hakstol was worse, as if your opinion is fact and no one can question it. Why do Gopher fans keep blaming me for their own actions?

Woog physically assaulted the ref after the game along with the gestures and "floating a kid $500" is a violation of NCAA policies, both warranted a suspension from the WCHA but in the gaypher world those are all played down to honorable gestures! HAHA! Reverted back to his old ways? Heroin addicts don't just put their addiction aside for a couple months a year for hockey, he's a junkie. Hardly an epic failure.

I guess the lack of reading comprehension in Sue land is an epidemic. Keep up the good work! :p

Says the guy who can't even read his own posts. You just said Woog giving McAlpine was an honorable gesture. Have you been buying from Hagemo and already forgot about that?

The guy needed money to finish his degree. He didn't have any eligibility left. There was no reason, no motivation, and a lot of risk for Woog to help the kid out. Did he break the rules? Absolutely. He should have been punished and he was. Was it big of him to help this kid finish his degree? I think it was. Is your disagreement motivated by the rivalry, or are you really serious when you think what Woog did there was such an awful thing? The magnitude of your tunnel vision is quite hilarious.

At least he gave him real money, in contrast to the stuff Bochenski was using.

Woog should've been fired for it. Thankfully his sucky coaching took care of this problem a few years later.

You know what, I don't necessarily disagree with you here. Woog possibly should have been fired for breaking NCAA rules. However, I believe cooler heads prevailed and he kept his job. Do you really think what Woog did here was a horrible misdeed, or are you blinded by your hatred for the Gophers? If it's the latter, fine. You just look like an idiot for calling shenanigans 15 years later on a guy who isn't even the coach anymore. I guess that's all you've got to defend Hakstool with. :p

I like Woog. Colorful, and very knowledgeable about hockey. Sure, sometimes he has issues forming sentences from his thoughts, but that is part of his appeal. :)

If he is indeed not doing telecasts any longer, it would be a big loss.

Yeah, we can't forget about the Blarney's incident! ;)

Either way, quintessential Dirty right there.

skiumah2 is using up his allotment of  too early in the week.

Re: MN Golden Gophers @ UND Sioux: Arrogant vs Offensive!

I haven't once defended Hakstol's actions. You however have implied Woog's outburst was nothing compared to Hakstol's and rationalized Woog breaking NCAA rules.
