UND seems to take responsibility for Minnesota's demise last year but that doesn't add up looking over the record. Minnesota sandwiched 4 wins around the UND series. What killed them was the 4 straight losses starting with Mankato and ending with Wisconsin. Then tying UAA for good measure. If they go .500 over that span they easily make the NCAA's and get a better seed in the Final Five. They did ok against UMD in the Final Five it's just UMD got hot with the right goaltender at the right time. Also, despite Kangas' numbers over the year not being the best he had pretty solid numbers the last month or so of the year. We'll see what happens and what to expect this weekend. We have nothing to go on. UND had a poor opponent and seems to have had a little trouble (not much).

Except I doubt Brent could tell you who won the 1986-2009 MN State HS Football champs from memory...and I doubt he has enough commitment to ride his bike to the airport in freezing cold winter to meet the hockey team after they won the national title. ;)

I am glad you brought up the "lack of class and professionalism" because whiskey woog did the exact same thing when he was coaching. Gayphers are always throwing stones in their glass house. Notice how quiet woog got when it happened? Frank was running his flesh flute holder as usual but whiskey woog just poured another drink. "and everyone on their feet here at mariucci arena except for those people in wheel chairs" frank mazzocco.
 
The only arguement I made was there was a lot of noise before last years series by goofer fans....

So because two fans said as much you felt compelled to do the same? Did the conversation in your head go something like this?:

"How dare they besmirch the great name that is UND ____ Hockey!! I shall immediately defend the ______'s honor be declaring a sweep in the opposite direction!!".

Let's see, the Sue have a school administration disrespectful to Native Americans, a head coach disrespectful to referee's, a team of players disrespectful of civil laws, alcohol, mascots and lawn tools and a fan base disrespectful of the national anthem.

Wrong arena and wrong person but you had the right sport anyway...... 1 out of 3 is not bad though keep trying.

I can't wait for this weekend, only my impatience and excitement will be dashed by having to lend a hand at decorating for a wedding on Friday and then filming the wedding on Saturday. I hope they can stop things long enough to check my phone. The reception might be a bit easier to do that, but dang it, it's at a convention hall, no bar around with a TV. ugh...I'm mad.

I would add the video of Hirsch the Brain Hearse but everyone has seen that fiasco.
UM players have been arrested on booze charges making them disrespectful of civil laws, alcohol, UM mascot carries disease, and as a part of the Sioux fan base I am a military veteran so I can dance the macabre during the anthem and still be regarded as more respectful to this country than most gaypher fans. Still unconvinced? Let's try for a felony gaypher drug charge with Heroin Hagemo.
