It's strange. Twins OF is left hand heavy already. He makes us better defensively I guess. Adds some pop, but not much else.

My guess is that Kepler is the odd guy out and sees a trade to fill another need like Pitcher or Shortstop.

The real head-scratcher is why we didn't do more low level signing while waiting on Correa. He shouldn't hold up ALL activity.

Clearly they thought Correa was a done deal and when it wasn't they scrambled.
Gallo could have a bounce back but they say that about all the retreads they sign and most of them don't work.
I should have stuck with baseball though. .199 hitter and 11 million bucks must be nice
 
To add to the speculation. Darren Wolfson said he has info but not for twitter. And Correa posted "Everything happens for a reason."

So Cohen is basically willing to pay up to $600mm for Correa! Isn't he at the max tax threshold?

That dude has money burning a hole in his pocket.
