I wish Correa and Rodon would make their decisions already.

Twins only have about $80mm on the payroll, so they could theoretically be in on both (assuming a $140mm+ payroll again). But, I'd bet they only take 1, if any.

Rodon apparently wants to go east. So it will likely take an overpay.

Rodon + Swanson wouldn't be the worst consolation prize either.

Bottom line number is good. You get girth or length. Twins offered 10 in the high 20s per.

i don't think it's a failure if you choose to not slip an anchor line around your neck. Sucks that we couldn't sign him, but he's got to do right by his family and we can't have another Mauer contract holding us back

I don't mean a failure because we didn't over commit. I mean a failure to improve or in this case, not be worse. I agree we should have limits, and 10/$285 is respectable offer.
