Now the Sacramento Kings have the longest playoff drought of the four sports leagues at 16 seasons.

It’s impressive with the NBA and NHL’s playoff sizes that any franchise can go more than five years.

Hilarious watching these locker room celebrations (Anchorage is part of the Mariners market) knowing they have a noon game tomorrow.

The second WBC qualifier is taking place in Panama this week and next. The first one in Germany saw Great Britain and Czechia qualify. Pakistan has three high school kids from the US on the roster (roughly half the team is American) including one who didn’t make his school’s varsity team last year.

Fucking stupid.

No it's not. This is a bunch of Americans (like S4L said, some aren't even varsity athletes) with limited actual connections to the country they are representing. The guys and gals you see with double times are usually born and raised in the countries they represent. The one that still stands out to me was the guy from Africa who qualified by swimming in hotel pools in Africa. That's how he trained. That's someone enjoying the moment. This ain't that.

Judge not lest ye be judged.

Does anyone with a strong opinion have any thought of the WBC unless they see it referenced? Does the WBC occupy memory cells in any human cranium?
