Kinda strange the Giants and A's are off tonight and don't start their series until tomorrow.

The best teams don't win much more than 60% of the time.

I was unaware the Orioles have been officially eliminated from playoff contention until now.

I thought they were eliminated on Opening Day, but what do I know?

Meanwhile a disturbing number of NL teams are still in the race because like 12 teams are within a few games of .500.

Ramirez breaks his hamate bone. Not sure how the Indians expect to score runs now.

The Tigers have joined them.

One thing I don't understand is the Tigers are having a worse season record wise, but the O's are getting all the attention.

Chris Davis going 0-for-the-season to start the season was the hook, then the home run deluge kept us engaged.

5 of the 7 worst teams in baseball are in the AL: Detroit, Baltimore, KC & Seattle, Toronto . The only really bad team in the NL is the Marlins.

This is the sole highlight of Mariners baseball in the last 15 years.

The NL had dominated interleague play so far.

Rays AA prospect lost his wife, child, and mother-in-law in a triple homicide - suspect apprehended, was his brother-in-law.

There is apparently video of the aftermath, and we're not going there.

Is this the one where the guy was naked when the cops got there, was pointing a gun at them, threatening them etc., but because he had the good fortune to be white didn't end up dead?

Next time you're tempted to complain about the salaries baseball players make, consider that the Kansas City Royals, who sold for $96 million in 2000, were just purchased for $1 billion.

They had four winning seasons between sales.
