The Braves are the only NL team left I don't want to see win. Any other NL team I'm fine with making the WS.

The bullpen. That is what I mentioned in my original post on this subject.

In the playoffs, the bullpen tends to be used a lot more and deeper than the regular season. And I have more confidence in the Yankees bullpen than the Twins bullpen.

So, when the poster responded the Twins scored 39 runs, I responded the Yankees scored about the same. Implying, this time the bullpen will make a bigger difference and it won't be about the same.

Also, you have the Paxton factor. He has been lights out his last five starts, as his curve ball is back to perfection. If he still has excellent command of his curve ball, that could spell trouble for the Twins who are a fastball hitting team. If that is the case, then MN has got to win at least one of the two games (assuming it goes five) when Paxton starts. They don't have to beat Paxton, just ruin his use by winning a game when he starts. If not, I don't see how the Twins can beat the Yankees.

Houston up 2-zip.

Just get me to Houston-Minnesota and Los Angeles-St. Louis and then I can handle pretty much everything that comes next.

Big Rays error with 2 outs bases loaded; Houston gets 2 more. Tampa down 4-zip with Verlander pitching a one-hitter so far. Suboptimal.

Not a fan of Berrios pitch count in 2 innings. Also didnt like Rosarios first at bat.

Otherwise a good start to the game.

Berrios ain't lasting long in this one. Going to get to the bullpen too early.
