Re: MLB 2017: Playoffs, World Series, and Off-season.
From espn.com: "The Cubs scored eight runs against the Dodgers, all via the long ball, losing 11-1 in Game 5. According to Elias Sports Bureau research, it’s the first time a team playing four or more games in the playoffs scored all its runs in a series on home runs. The Cubs were unable to produce one rally, going 0-for-14 with runners in scoring position."
How many games have there been this post season where every run was scored by someone hitting the ball out of the park. One day during the division round three of the four teams in action generated every run off a homer. When my team is playing and winning I mind less, but if I was a casual fan watching playoff baseball with no dog in the hunt, I don't know that it would be so enjoyable.
