Re: MLB 2015 - Meet the new boss, same as the old boss!

Apparently the Cubs considered playing the season in Milwaukee. I guess US Cellular is too close.
Speaking of the Whitecaps, they are debuting new food this season too, including a pretzel-breaded Italian sausage sandwich, lobster nachos, vegetable potstickers, and cotton candy-wrapped Twinkies.Actually looks pretty good, though I think I would need to share.
I've already had garlic fries in SF, a Fenway Frank, and a Chicago Dog at Wrigley. The next stadium food on my list is the mac and cheese crab dog at Camden. Pretty self explanatory, a hot dog with mac and cheese, crab, and Old Bay seasoning. Saw it on a TV show and immediately had a huge craving. I would try to make it myself but I hate imitation crab meat and real crab meat is too expensive here.
It's a shame Comerica's signature food is Little Caesar's... Frankly Comerica's concessions are the worst of any ballpark I've been too. I'm not lying when I say the single-A Whitecaps offer a better selection and quality.

Also, Miller Park has the best kept secret food stand: on the second (loge) level behind home plate is a "food truck" with their signature "Spaghetti IN a meatball" and a second offering of a specialty dish themed to the city/region of the opponent for that series.

Maybe it's a good thing I don't go to many games. I'd be fat and broke from all the delicious food. Versus being just fat now.I've posted about this numerous times - one of the best ideas at a ballpark I've seen. They have the same thing on the club level, behind home plate at the brisket stand (which is the best food item there, IMO).
AJ Bombers at the ballpark also has a special custard flavor that is often themed to the opponent (gooey butter cake for St. Louis, Twinkie for Minnesota, etc). Holey Moley Doughnuts and Smoke Shack are new at the ballpark this year, so themed doughnuts may be in the works as well.
Miller Park has the best food of any of the 26 ballparks I've visited, in both variety and quality.
They do need to work on their poutine, though.
Well, at least that's better than being just broke.Maybe it's a good thing I don't go to many games. I'd be fat and broke from all the delicious food. Versus being just fat now.
...
Dang, I voted for the buffalo tots or whatever Hot Tots was.
Lobster nachos sounds good but will probably be like 12 bucks, or faux lobster. The Italians sausage sandwich sounds good, though.
Is this what you speak of? The funnel cake bacon burger? The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are countering with a burger using elephant ears carnival food as buns.
Though their signature dish is going to be their revised patty melt... a bacon topped burger patty using grilled cheese sandwiches as the buns. Because Wisconsin.
That's not as bad as the burger they sold in Arlington last year. The one that was the size of a dinner plate, that some 300 pound woman scarfed down in about an inning and a half. And then she proceeded to reach for her man's nachos the next inning. She sucked down about 8200 calories in the span of about 58 pitches.
