The #1 thing you can take away from this World Series is what an excellent job the front offices of Boston & St. Louis did.

Did the Cardinals re-sign Albert Pujols and cripple their spending? No. They went out and got a bunch of random dudes who fit their system and likely did better than they would have if they'd had Pujols.

The Red Sox went out and changed their entire team. If their GM doesn't win Executive of the Year it's a sham.

That's more a mistake of geography. She should move to a city with a better NHL team - and get a new boyfriend.

I'm in Maine, so no. People are pretty over it. Saturday will be insane in the city. I was thinking of going to the parade but Amtrak doesn't even get into Boston until 10:30 and the festivities start at 10. And no, I'm not getting my *** up at 4:30 on a Saturday to catch the 5:30 train for a parade. I'll watch on TV.

Almost like being a Detroit Lions fan, except that's only been since 1957; and, of course, has nothing to do with baseball.

No. Were you aware that the Atacama desert is the driest place on earth? Obvious announcer is obvious.

Mrs Jon thought it was hilarious that they were pretending that the Red Sox did nothing from 1918 until 2013. When in reality,they only did nothing from 1918 to 2004. Only.

This is kind of shock in that the team was supposed to finish in last place and they were outclassed by all three teams they played in the playoffs. I guess they made us all look stupid.

Two women were collecting confetti from the parade to spread on the graves of relatives.

Boston PD just tweeted that there were no arrests today at the parade.

Yanks continue their history of bidding against themselves for the services of a player nobody else wants. Seriously where do I sign up to get a raise after not doing anything for a year?
