MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

Re: MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

With every run your Pirates score during the three games against the Detroit Tigers on May 18-20 at Comerica Park, one dollar ($1.00) will be taken off the price you pay for select tickets at PNC Park for the May 25-27 games vs. the Cubs AND the Memorial Day game vs. the Reds on May 28.*

Tickets available through this special offer are Lower Outfield Box (regularly priced at $28) and Outfield Box seats ($24).

well so far, those tickets will cost $28 or $24 :D

Wow, the MLB first year player draft is so far off the sports radar that Bud Selig isn't even going to attend. He's sending Frank Robinson and Joe Torre instead.

Re: MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

Uh, what? Ummm... the Rangers score a lot of runs? I think? You're confusing me. :p
Morrow.

Road games: 3-0, 0.63 ERA, 2 ER, 8 BB, 24 SO, .156 Opp AVG
Night games: 2-2, 4.54 ERA, 17 ER, 9 BB, 24 SO, .236 Opp AVG
Grass games: 3-0, 0.63 ERA, 2 ER, 8 BB, 24 SO, .156 Opp AVG
On Fridays: 0-0, 5.14 ERA, 4 ER, 1 BB, 4 SO, .240 Opp AVG

So all 3 of his road games have been on the grass, and at least 1 of them was a day game.

Don't look now, but Pujols is starting to adjust. 6 HR, 20 RBI in his last 19 games.

He was wearing it as an homage to the Tampa Bay Rays, who have a theme every road trip they take. This road trip was bow ties.

The Mets do this now, too. They wore hockey sweaters to Toronto, cowboy outfits to Texas, etc.

This is going to make it all a lot easier when 10% of MLB comes out...

The Rays may be trying to get the 11th Doctor in their backpocket in case things go south during the playoffs. :D

The Rays totally need to wear Fezzes or Stetsons on a roady.

Someone who is having a good streak as well is Paul Konerko of the White Sox. Not counting todays game (he went 1/4) he is hitting .639 with 5 homers and 14 RBI. In the month of May (after a slow start for a few games), he is batting .415 with 18 RBI and 6 HR. I believe if he had some more consistent hitters around him he would have more RBI as well.
