My only question (and I didn't bring this up, it was asked on Amazin' Avenue) is "Do we make it so that there's one interleague game going on at all times?" I'm just not sure how the league should deal with an odd number of teams in each league.
2005When did SkyDome get renamed the Rogers Centre?
No, that's GM Place.Isn't that what the Canucks' arena is called?
Big market teams will love this idea.
I certainly see some positives here:
1. Better teams in the post season. You can't just be the best team in a weak division.
2. More equality in the getting to the post season. The NL Central has 6 teams while the AL and NL West have 4. Not exactly fair. This is the players argument.
3. More teams with a chance to get to the post season. An extra spot means more teams playing to win.
How do you get from 5 teams per conference to a 2-team LCS?
My guess is the champion gets a bye. In which case, if they must do this, I hope they go to 1 (playoff), 3 (league semis), 5 (LCS), 7 (WS).

Touche. I remembered it as GM Place because of the hubub during last year's Olympics with them having to call it "Canada Hockey Place"
Anyone on this board interested in tickets to Saturday or Sunday's Brewers @ Red Sox games next weekend? I have 4 tickets for saturday (SRO) and 2 for sunday available (Grandstand 23). Let me know in this thread or via my email on here.
I am, I bought extras hoping more of my buddies could make the trip with me...I've been selling extras on stubhub...those are what's left besides the tickets I'm using. Are you not coming here now?
If the problem is unequal-sized divisions, kick an NL Central team to the AL West. Problem solved. I nominate Milwaukee.
