Minnesotans Arguing About the Weather IV: Niño or Niña, My Joints Stopped Trying

A patient of mine has two brothers missing from a massive tornado that went through her town last night. She doesn’t know yet. Dad called to tell the night nurse. 😢
 
normally rain helps, but this is just so bad that it’s not even putting a dent in it. Plus the mixing dynamics are probably unfavorable.
 
Funny, I was thinking how we’re getting so much less rain than last year
Its not the amount...its the length. In the past 2 weeks I think there has been one day around here that didn't include some rain and almost all clouds. this is the stuff we used to get in April before we phucked up the climate.

The Upper Midwest also didn't have to deal with Canadian wildfire smoke every season, but here we are looking like Shittsburgh in the 70s.

I thought I heard that Boston has had something like 12 rainy weekends in a row now.
