Minnesotans Arguing About the Weather IV: Niño or Niña, My Joints Stopped Trying

Bizarre. It just poured here loud enough that we could hear the rain but for only five seconds. Dry before, dry after. But those five seconds were very loud.

My town is scheduled for a high of 50 with high winds yesterday, downpour and flooding today, then sunny and > 90 Sunday. Spring is fun.

I went outside to see them, but was quickly distracted by a guy getting pulled over, get into a decent shouting match with the cop, and then two more squads showing up to cuff and shove him in the back of one of their cars. Tow truck is here now for his vehicle.

We drove an hour forty into Wisconsin and got to a dark sky area.

what a great show. got home at 5:00 AM. Woke up with a rockin headache but it was all worth it.

To see a total eclipse and a 20-year peak northern lights in a 31-day period is pretty amazing.

Didn't get to see anything because a) it's May so it's daylight until around 10:30 and b) we've been having the crappiest weather (it snowed here on Wednesday and Thursday).

In in NYC for the weekend, so bubkis for me. Though it was raining last night anyway, so couldn't see it even without the city lights drowning everything out.
