I'm quite sure it'll be close. They usually are. But this smells like a UW sweep (although Nicole has a split and Candice a sweep for the Gophs). Maybe I've not gotten over last year's shockers in Madison.

Maybe the previous post were I said it will be embarrassing for Wisconsin if they don't sweep will help with the "not sure". ;)

That's always the case no matter the outcome. The fans like to cast aspersions at Gophers being rodents, but come on. At least Goldy is happy. The UW mascot is just an overgrown weasel whose cranky face gives evidence as to why he has to skulk around in the dark. That's not to mention the hideous color costumes that makes it look like they got dressed up as a valentine for Halloween and never sobered up enough to change. I doubt even holding up an NCAA trophy can improve that picture much. I'm not sure, though. It's been so long that I've kind of forgotten.

Sure hope there's no major flooding anywhere because all the sandbags are in rodentapolis right now. I do want the rodents to play well and may the better team win. The ref's need to stay out of the way on these 2 games as in call a good game and be consistent and call the chippy crap for sure. No room for needless injuries like both teams have sustained.

Other than the flooding part, I agree.

Going back at least 12 years to when those 3 goals were scored in slightly over a minute to decide the WCHA tournament championship, the games between these two best teams in women's hockey have been for the most part exciting, hard fought and clean. I hope that continues today.

Oh, one more thing, the "weasel" is weird.

Tried a new browser, rebooting the computer, saying naughty words, nothing works. Will get video for a minute at most, then it freezes. :mad:

Wisco' has radio, but I think that is just available in the Madison area. Even Gophersports audio keeps freezing for me. LaBahn may just have lousy Internet access.
