Let me back this boat way the fk up so some people can get a clue as to what the fk this is all about in the 1st place..

I made the comment about Mariucci and the Gophs having the biggest impact on what hockey is today in MN, and that was a reply to an insult previously given to the program only followed up by a barrage of insults from the Badger fans posting (last week and carried into this thread).. Not a single poster was looking for a compliment, only TELLING the knuckleheads they have it wrong, a few links later and the entire fanbase on this thread is up in arms. Chippy, Chucky, his little sister burd etc...

Everyone needs to STeffU.

Wisconsin's team is a young team, almost into Sandusky territory. MN should (and will) destroy them. The Rau-ser will continue to make awesome things happen, and B-Jugs will destroy anything in his path. Patterson will have a yawner of a series, he'll be bored to death watching WI try and get into the offensive zone. Guentzel will punch Eaves in the face, and say to pass it on to Alvarez for his stupid B1G Mistake idea. Gophers sweep.

Come on dry your eyes. You can't expect them to give a crap about our history. Just like I (and I assume you) could give a crap about the fact that the people own the Green Bay Packers when it's obvious they are soooo proud of that and remind us of it constantly.

You're part of it big guy. I'd be happy to talk some hockey instead of getting a lecture on my program's history from your fan base or be chastised for responding to those remarks.

Feel free to move the discussion to this weekend's series. I've already provided my prediction, keys to the game, and various other hockey related comments.

Or, you can keep criticizing us and only us, get defensive replies, and continue to add to the worthlessness of this thread.

I'm just saying, I'd be happy to move on, but I'm not going to bear the full brunt for the cluster **** this thread has become. In fact, I'm one of the few people who has actually commented on this weekend's games in this thread.

I'm just asking you as a Gopher fan from a Gopher fan to understand that having this conversation with a BADger fan is like Lou Holtz trying to talk to "Peggy" from USA Prime Credit. You're not ever going to get anywhere. :p

Agreed. And all I'm saying is that I'm trying to move on, but the continued criticism isn't really helping. Let's just drop this. I'm as ready to move on as anyone, if not more :)

Fair enough. I'll make the first try. I really believe that if the Gophers can keep the penalties (especially the stupid ones) to a minimum, I really don't see any reason how the Gophers will not return home with 4 more points. Even if they commit their typical amount of penalties, I don't see any way they don't get a least a split.
