What gave it away, was it when I called Eaves a whiny little prat? :p

The only question heading into this series is how long it takes Eaves to start getting fussy on the bench, and whether the refs will come prepared with a nuk to give him when it happens.

I wasn't agreeing with his choice of a highlight. No matter your team affiliation, that student radio call is the one you'd rather listen to!

But they really suck at wearing school colors. Green, black and white and no purple? you'd figure they'd be smarter than that.

True story: that was the first college hockey game I listened to and took an interest in. I just decided to go to UMD and knew that I couldn't cheer for UMTC so figured I'd cheer for HC. Glen Sonmor was awfully whiney about all the calls that didn't go the Gophers way. And then they lost. What a way to be introduced to college hockey...

They're really committed to supporting college hockey as a whole. When they travel to other venues, they like to buy some local hockey merchandise; it's become quite a tradition.
