Minnesota @ Wisconsin: 2/6 & 2/7

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin: 2/6 & 2/7

You mean Adam 1.965 GAA, 0.931 SV% Wilcox? What's it like behind Joel, 2.01 GAA, 0.928 SV% Rumpel then?

Actually not much trash talking in either case about the #10 and #11 goalies is there?
It really is an embarrassment of riches.

BADger fans don't know the definition of the word sieve. Fans in madtown last year called Wilcox a sieve.....after he made a SAVE.:confused::confused:
It's always amusing to hear people get their goatskin loincloths in a twist over that.

My favorite of all-time though is Jup's story about how he once heard a Badger fan yell "quick, get the puck, their goalie left the net" or something to that effect on a delayed penalty call on Wisconsin. Classic :)
And I once saw a rodent fan (a visiting and therefore presumably non-casual rodent fan, mind you) get upset at the lack of an icing call against a shorthanded Badger team. Fans like that are like excuses (or *******s, if you will): everyone's got 'em and you really shouldn't be punching one if it belongs to a goat.

In all seriousness, it's always an awesome atmosphere when these two teams play, regadless of the venue. Expect the same this week.
Yes, agreed. Good times for all. This is always my favorite series of the year to watch.

Surprised you all understand how and why icing is enforced. Your're a step ahead of your bretheren that I anually encounter at your basketball-made-to-be-ice-arena ;)

It's one of my favorite series too, and the back-and-forth like this is one of the main reasons why. All in good fun.

"Date manual" for Badger fans...

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin: 2/6 & 2/7

It's always amusing to hear how stupid BADger fans are and continue to be.:p;)

Speaking of which:

I do know that here in Minnesota we have a lot of embarrassment for our neighbor to the east. It often becomes too much to handle.

It's english wes. It's not that difficult. Embarrassment is not pails of dead rodents. You do not "have a lot of it", as in "I have a lot of pails of dead rodents." Well, I grant that perhaps embarrassment runs to a completely new level in Minnesota and you feel you have no other way to describe it, but what you really mean to say is "Here in Minnesota we are embarrassed by our neighbor to the east."

Is that so hard? I think not. Now the great thing about this usage is that it will come in handy in the future for sentences like: "Man, I can't believe how badly the gophers got embarrassed by Wisconsin tonight on the ice."

Tuck that away, you'll need it.

I find it interesting that your favorite highlight is of a different team. Do the Badgers not have any highlights?

It's old, but still, I've always been somewhat partial to this one:
