Couldn't agree more with you about how boring this thread is and how you don't can't wait for this "rivalry" to be gone, by the way.

Why so boring to Goldie fan club members let me guess
1. Can’t brag on how bad you beat the Seawolves the last time they played you.
2. Win streak got broke by whom?
3. Have the couldn’t care less mind-set because you quit the WCHA.
4. Got *** handed to them by players who the tDon didn’t even take a look at.
5. Can’t wait to look down at Ohio and Penn State fans
6. Felt for the player’s who had to travel to Alaska that where afraid of the dark.
7. To cheap to take a trip to Alaska for a road game.

First you biatch and moan that there's no hockey talk. I try to engage you in hockey talk and you blow it off. Then when the hockey talk starts (after Slap Shot asked ...) you complain that it's boring. Do I see anything about the Gopher hockey team in this thread? Nope. Maybe it's you that makes this thread boring. Maybe? No ... it is. So with that being the case, please gtfo of the thread and quit making it so boring with your incessant whining ... shut the fetid gob with all the "boring" talk.

My main concern with the Gophers is their youth, especially on the blue line. Not just lack of experience at this level, but their flat out immaturity at times. I am sure you will witness it. Stupid retaliatory penalties.

Sorry, but if I have to take a "test" to prove my hockey intellect to you, then youaren't worth my time. If you really wanted to know why I think Minnesota lost last year, you would have just asked.

The bickering about politics, and your childish antics, are what bores me about this thread. I like the hockey talk, and participated, but it's too few and far between.

I hope I see it over and over again. For the Seawolves to win they have to play a hard no mistakes game. Skate, hit, and pressure your inexperienced players time and time again. They also have to block shots and shoot the puck. If our goaltenders are solid it will be a good weekend for the Seawolve’s.

1. Nope. Seawolves ripped us apart.
2. Vermont? No qualms here. They outplayed the Gophers on Sunday and deserved the W. Will it hurt us in the PWR? Yeah. Can the Gophers do anything about that now? No. Look ahead.
3. We the fans quit the WCHA? Hardly. I would venture to guess 95% of Gopher hockey fans want to stay in the WCHA and prefer rivalries with MTU, Denver, UAA, etc. over Penn State, Ohio State, and Michigan State.
4. tDon didn't look at most of them because most of them are outside of Minnesota's recruiting area. I am not sure he overlooked them because they were "lesser" players.
5. Hey, Penn State and Ohio State fans already look down on Minnesota in basically every other sport in the Big Ten. This is one of the few sports Gopher fans can look down on them. So, yeah, duh, we'll look down on them.

7. Yeah, I don't have the $. Working an unpaid internship = little $ for anything outside of the essentials. I have an uncle that lives in _airbanks, so I definitely want to get up there when I get the $.
