Minnesota vs Jan Brady State (home and home) Nov 18th-19th

Re: Minnesota vs Jan Brady State (home and home) Nov 18th-19th

Is tDon changing up the lineup to get better effort or just calling last night a fluke like the fanbase is?

Re: Minnesota vs Jan Brady State (home and home) Nov 18th-19th

The Husky success sure isn't much, everyone knows that. I just think it's funny that gopher fans always always need to bring back their PAST success. You will NOT be #1 after this weekend, that's obvious. Also, to say the gophers have been mediocre the last 3 years is pretty humorous. I thought mediocre meant okay, not way below average.

way below average is 5th, 7th, and 5th place finishes in the WCHA? LOL what is average in college hockey? 3rd place finishes in the wcha? #clueless

You said you know how it ends.
Sure sounds like you think you do.
Let me guess...this team won't win a national title right?
Guess what?
Not one Husky fan has said or even hinted we would.
Keep trying troll boy.

Don't know if they'll win a NC or not.

I simply made an observation that's been made many times before. And by SCSU fans as well. That the Huskies season peaks at the Gophers.

The fact you believe that shows how much of a moron you are.
Why would our season peak against a team we should beat?
Especially one we should beat at home.

Re: Minnesota vs Jan Brady State (home and home) Nov 18th-19th

You are right. The entire fanbase is calling last night a fluke.:rolleyes: Is there a point trying to be rational with you? I am asking a serious question.

I didn't say the entire fanbase, but most people on this board is like, "Good job Cloud, you guys cashed in on us ****ing up." So if MN plays its best, there's NO way that SCSU can hang with them, right? 3 or 4 goal win at least, right?

I want nothing more than for MN to play their absolute best, complete game tonight and find out that SCSU can still hang with them.

Time will tell if yesterday was the peak of your season.

If the preponderance of Husky history holds true, it will be.

Keep dreaming that dream, boy. :p

I ain't claiming the Gophs are 3-4 goals better than Cloud if both teams are on their games, but the Gophs have more talent. They also appear to be willing to play hard and play as a team this year. They should win more than they lose versus the Huskies.

Except for last night. How convenient.

I'll admit I didn't see the game last night, but watching the highlights, I was surprised. Silly me, when I heard you guys all talking about how you gift-wrapped all the goals for us, I was naive enough to think that we really showed almost no skill on those goals. Give me a break. Yeah, I have no idea what you guys were doing focusing on one player on a PP, but everytime you guys made mistakes, SCSU showed skill, smarts, and finished. So sorry that they didn't brick the opportunities they were given.

I'll compare last Friday's game vs WI to last night's game vs SCSU.

Vs WI: they played their trap game, disrupted our long-passing free-flowing game. We didn't adjust, and we paid for it. They flat out beat us by making us try and play their game.

Vs SCSU: Fluid game, spent most of the first camped out in the SCSU zone. The D, however decided to play like mongoloids and handed over the puck to wide open SCSU players, who obviously had an easy time putting the puck into the net. The "lone effort" was that nice pass on the SCSU PP to the wide open guy. Passing through 4 players is impressive. ;) MN beat themselves last night.

Did MN play their best last night? Far from it. I think that's pretty much agreed upon. Did SCSU play their best? I don't know for certain, as this was the first Husky game I've seen. However, I can't imagine that was their best play. It's not like they sucked arse, but they didn't play well.

Re: Minnesota vs Jan Brady State (home and home) Nov 18th-19th

Come on guys. You have to give SCSU some credit. They played really well last night. Yes, the Gophers made some mistakes defensively, but I would argue that at least a few were forced. SCSU has a good team and credit should be given where credit is due. Now let's bounce back and defend home ice tonight!

I think many are just saying "good game" cloud brought it to is pretty good last night!! Not sure how you can take offense to that...

Re: Minnesota vs Jan Brady State (home and home) Nov 18th-19th

Gopher fans only have one comeback it seems. You only talk about past success.

Regardless they've had a good start so far to the season, but apparently such an opinion invokes from your fans either, "hang a banner" or comments about recent failures. Nobody in this thread has earned an ivory tower.

What am I baseing your programs history on?

Is that what you're asking?

You really do struggle with reading comprehension don't you.

You said St. Cloud's seasons peak with the Gophers.
What are you basing that on.
In other words, if you want to make that claim, prove it.
Prove that our season peaks with the Gophers.

This video was found playing over and over in the JBSU locker room after the game.
