Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

Ah yes, questioning of sexuality based on something 90% of fans at target field do. Intelligent AND witty... :rolleyes:

It's a movie quote, genius. :rolleyes:

Anyway, the wave is retarded because if you're doing the wave, it means you're watching what's going on in the stand and not what's going on on the field. If you're more interested in looking at people, go to the mall, it don't cost nothin.

A quote that is completely out of context. My original comment still stands:

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

I have seen plenty of gay people wave...but I have yet to see them DO the wave ;)

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

A quote that I don't want to understand, so I'll repeat myself in order to make myself appear to be above the fray.

Fixed it for you.

Meanwhile... I'm starting to notice that my active rooting for the Twins seems to be not so good for their prospects.

And to your other point, I keep score at nearly every game I attend including the pitch sequence to each batter. Sorry. Thanks for playing.

Congratulations, king geek. Even the PITCH SEQUENCE? My mistake, you're just full of good times.

So you have no life and are a closet homosexual? Nice combination there.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

I'm not one to agree with Red Cloud on much... But, don't do the wave. It's dumb.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

They aren't crappy at home, MN is mediocre on the road, and the Twins will NOT win 3 of 4 in this series. They'd need to be fully healthy to have a reasonable shot at doing that, and with Mauer missing the first game and Morneau still out, they are anything but fully healthy right now.

Well, that's why I asked. Glad you could join the show. :p

And The Wave sucks. It's terrible. Horrible. I think I'd rather hear vuvuzelas than see the Wave.

I was at a game at Metrodome, it was a tie, in the late innings, someone tried to start the wave.... :mad:

Ugh.

I mean, it's not even kitschy enough to be retro-cool. It just sucks.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

Span isn't allowed to steal unless signaled to do so from here on out. At least that is what I heard.

See, at least when I participate I'm usually drunk, the game is a blowout, and we're in the field.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

At that point, I just go to the secret bar (at least I did in the Dome). :p

Which is great when you don't have a brother that doesn't drink that goes with you to games in your season tickets... ;)

I should amend this in that I gave him half my season tickets for christmas this year. Next year i have them all to myself and plan on doing more bar hopping pre/post game.

Does Target Field have a secret bar too? :confused:

I have to admit, the location of TF is very good. The bar selection in immediate range is grand.
