Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

I f*king hate how the umps are just sucking the collective dicks of the yankees. It's bullsh*t.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

I only have online updates -- what happened with Gardy?

These umps are not giving Pavano any pitch except those that are right down the middle of the plate. Completely slanted calling.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

Two things. One, Gardenhire knew his words and manneurisms were sure to get himself tossed. Two, the umpire made a chicken**** call on the non-strike, and he should know so.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

It's just ridiculous how the yankees always get all this help from the umps. And it's consistent.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

It doesn't help the MLB has the worst up since Ken Kaiser working the plate. The closest this doorknob should be to Target Field is cleaning the bathrooms at Target Center.

And then Pavano gets burned on two pretty good pitches for RBI singles....dam.

Argued a pretty bad non-strike call which would have struck the guy out. Next pitch he hits over Span's head to score the go ahead run. Got tossed because of it.

Thanks.

Still nobody out in the 7th. Yeesh.

Hey, S-F-brains behind the plate actually gets a call right.
Nice job (so far) by Tats!

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

Oh no. One call out of the endless stirkes that get called balls. Mauer hitting the ball down the line and phil cuzzi momentarily going blind, and God only knows how bad it's going to be in yankee stadium.

Who could forget the fiasco with Hunter last year against the Tigers where he blew several calls including the tag out of Granderson between 3rd and home and than proclaimed after the game that He was 100% on all his calls after watching the replays despite the fact that Granderson had already admitted he was tagged in the post game interview.
