Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

You people do realize that there are only two teams in baseball (Tampa and Philly) with a better record than the Twins? I'm not even entertained anymore by your whining using all your stupid little numbers and statistics.

But it's been proven this misconception is is shared by 15% of all fans of the Twins. 17% believe TF should have a roof and 100% of those have never been laid.

Your second part is what I've been referring to all along. The fact is they both get more out of their PA than MN. Of course, unlike Handy you seem capable of recognizing I've not even remotely said the season is over and expect the law of averages to work their way through by the end of the season, but that doesn't mean it's not something to watch as time goes by.

Whats funny is you think my points are directed at you :p

Gotcha. Now I'm on the same page.

Yeah, just like last year when we were batting something like .400 with RISP. It will balance out.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

So the Yankees (and all visiting MLB teams) are staying next door to where I work. Maybe I can accidentally trip a-rod as he is coming out of the building and then he wont be able to play today.

Drop a deuce near the entrance.

Just give Kate Hudson Teixeira's room number by accident. Should cause a little ruckus.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

First inning: guy on base, followed by out, out, walk, out.

Way to go, guys. :p

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Can't hit homeruns in that park if you're a Twin. :(

What do you think? Give it another hour before getting rid of the formality and just giving the win to the Yankees?

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Squirrels are traditionally good luck for the Yanks. Just a heads up.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Maybe today will be insects, they don't do as well with those. :D

Yeah, if you want to screw up the Yanks, insects is what you're looking for. Insects combined with moronic umps will do the trick just fine.

Not to make too much light of a very tragic situation, but we just had a whole bunch of bees get loose in Lakeville. That would probably do the trick.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Speaking of moronic umps, the home plate umpire called two consecutive pitches strikes that were at least 6" off the plate.

With two men on in the 8th, I'm sure the Twins will find a way to strand them. :p

... and sure enough, Delmon grounds out to 3rd to end the threat.

The Twins are absolutely killing New York in the LOB stat for this game.

You cannot hit homeruns in that park unless you play for the other team.
