Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

It is rare, and it has to be a screw up like throwing home (or third) instead of going for the force out. I have seen it happen a few times it usually brings groans from the fans ;)

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

What exactly did GoGo do that has everyone in such a tizzy?

I guess this is what qualifies as controversy these days? I mean, it was a ****** move in a game that was well out of hand, but given who it was, I don't think it warrants any uprising

EDIT: Although, if he should happen to be HBP tonight, I'd say fair is fair ;)

I think you're blowing the reaction well out of proportion. Most people are saying he deserves to get HBP for it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Probably--in that I agree with you about the HBP. I guess, I just thought a Howard blog post (probably okay on its own) PLUS a mlb.com article about it was one more article than needed. Just an observation :)

This. Place a 94 mph heater squarely in his lower ribcage and we can all go on with the season.

The final was 15-3, correct? Celebrating a 3 run homer when the game in out of hand is like the cart jockey at Walmart trash-talking Bill Gates about money.

I nominate Crain. Though, Gomez would need to be standing in the middle of the plate to get hit by Crain. :D

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

I guess I'm in the minority here. I don't see anything out of the ordinary in general. A little grandstanding, but if I just was watching the game, I wouldn't make any kind of note of it.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Good start again today. :)
Part of the good start was Delmon with a bases loaded walk.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Gardy gave Tattooed Man a lot of room for error there...sorry but no excuse for Rausch not coming out of the pen in the start of the 9th even in a non-save situation...or even after the guy they brought in gave up two hits...if they lose it is on Gardy.

6-6 now.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Casilla with a helluva play

Cya GoGo :p

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

And the Brewers score to take the lead...hard to win with your hands around your throats boys :p

BTW what the hell has been floating around all game?

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

MVPorneau with a double down the line :)

No outs...lets get him home!

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Cuddy with a single...1st and 3rd no outs!

Brewers should walk Kubel to load them up we would be screwed :p

edit: Kubel strikes out despite being ahead in the count the whole time...jesus Kubel even a DP ties the game!
