Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Sending Jason "Jets" Kubel was probably not the best idea ever... :D

Ulger, seriously? Is he gambling? Kubs is slower than me & I can hear his knees creaking on TV.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

That was crappy. Oh well, day game tomorrow for the 2 game series split (probably in more rain :) which means my tee time is probably shot :()

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Pavano seems to have settled down after giving up 2 in the 1st.

3-2 Twins bottom of 6

Ozzie likes the new park I bet.
Apparently he tweeted that it is the best park in the american league, or something like that. :p

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Twins Win! Twins Win!

3-2 Final

I just watched the gamecast, so I don't know how they looked. But they didn't give up much of anything and no runs after giving up 2 runs in the top of the 1st.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

They didn't sweep...season = OVER!

:D

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

I'd buy those seats for cheap/obstructive view price. The best place to be is the bar right behind homeplate, and that drink rail is open to anyone. Just go stand at the drink rail in the bar, so I can be 4 feet away from liquor and stand mid-way up directly behind the plate.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

I want the Twins to have a good series in New York. Win at least one game. If they can have a great series (win two games) I'll be impressed. I still cannot believe we didn't win a game against them last year. They credit their season turning around last year when they walked off three times against us...ugh.

That's the pain of it. 3 walk-offs. No walk-offs for the Yanks and one win would make me a happy camper.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Twins are soooooooooooooooooooooo shitty with the bases loaded.

Walk a run in.
Double play ball to the pitcher.
Whats next?

Edit: A SO with 2 on. Ugh.

Teams are going to start loading the bases on purpose to ensure we don't score.

MLB.com claims Twins have 11 LOB already?

Depends how they count I guess.

3 on for walk, is 2 LO
3 on for dp is 3 LO
2 on for SO is 2 LO

Leadoff hit in 2nd or 3rd inning, means 3 more LO for the 3 outs.

So yeah I can see that.
