I personally don't embrace the arrogant thing as much as others, but most around here are going to have even larger heads than usual because of your comment.![]()
I enjoy chatting with other teams fans normally

tArrogance
We all know your team is good but you guys are the most arrogant bunch of people i have ever seen. Besides Minnesota being the better team the big difference tonight was the Gophers putting in 2 rebounds infront of the ohio state net and the buckeyes could not do the same when the game was close. Tomorrow is a new day.
There was never a point in that game where I thought we were going to come back and win
OSU was lucky the game wasn't on regular ice.
I don't think OSU will roll over, but it's not outrageous in the least to suggest the Gophers come away with 5, and that has nothing to do with history beyond the current season.
OSU rolled over last night. 4 points is one point away. Personally I'm going to say sweep now.
I left the game after the second period. I do not normally do that, but the way we came out not ready to play and getting dominated throughout, didn't see any point in staying. The team decided not to show up, so why should I hang around. I may go to tomorrow's game since it's senior night. It was disappointing to see us come out playing that poorly this late in the season. I definitely didn't go into this weekend expecting to sweep, but I expected us to be competitive, which we were not tonight. There was never a point in that game where I thought we were going to come back and win. Congrats Minnesota fans, you called it ... sweep. We will probably be a little more competitive tomorrow night if we clean up all the sloppiness that I witnessed tonight, but I don't expect a W for us. If there is any positive about tonight, at least Rohlik and our team know what they need to work on to get to that level. Oh, and thanks to Coach Lucia and the Gophers for calling off the dogs in that third period when they could have run it up on us. We did nothing defensively all night to stop Minnesota.

What??? We are arrogant?? Why is this the first time we have heard about this?? and what kind of special computer do you have that you can see all of us??![]()
Well, maybe you had your eyes closed for the first period, because if I had not seen the actual goals in that first and you told me it was 2-0, I would have been sure it was Stickers that was on top. Your team took it to us in the first, and THEN they disappeared. You have some good, quick forwards that seemed to ( especially in the first ) be able to get right in on net by flying in and turning their shoulder to cut to the front of the net while our d-men tried to push you to the outside. In that way your team reminds me of UMDTC Duluth. You are not too far back, but I am afraid we will have to crush you tonight.![]()
I think the real surprise for me was someone calling Gopher fans arrogant and apparently expecting that to bother us.We are Minnesota. Assimilate or die. Resistance is futile.
That's how I feel the game went as well. The gophers really didn't take the game over until Wilcox made that save while he was on his butt with the score 3-1. A goal there and we gave a game instead Minnesota comes back and scores 2 quick ones and that us the game.

Guess these newbies from the old CCHA have a lot to learn about hockey and hockey fans.
Never might be a bit strong, but I'm pretty sure we'll have passed mandatory retirement age before the fans of tOSU rise to the level that it's a real possibility.somehow, I just get the feeling I will never get suspended trolling in an Ohio State thread.
Your team had a great first period with no puck luck. Wilcox had something to say about that, but it could have been a different game if something went in for your guys.
Some Gopher fans leave early, but not usually until well into the third period. I don't approve because they are setting a poor example for children and the uninitiated. I grew up on the Iron Range. We don't leave hockey games early - even for a beer. However, I could understand you deciding to leave early for a few beers.![]()
One of my golden rules too. Never leave or turn off a hockey game early.
I never do that either
