Finally a sense of humor. Full of lies, but at least not so serious.

I really want to see UM start the weekend right from the first drop. I think the Gophers will be loose despite the circumstances. tUH will need to be more disciplined than they were at Mariucci. Not worried about the ice sheet or the fact they are on the road as their record is stellar either way. Looking forward to b it as this rivalry is now starting to heat up.

I am a bit worried about uglies cheap shots. Over the years I have seen enough of that crap when they are playing Sparty or the THE flower uglies where nearly every whistle is followed by bravado. This years Gophers have seemed to be SO disciplined when it comes to that. I am really looking forward to these high flying games, though. These games are really fun to watch.

Curses! Someone has seen through my evil plan by mixing pronouns and typing with the mostest bestest grammer of all!

I still don't think MI will have much to play for because after a Friday loss they will realize they have no hope and are resigned to missing the NCAAs again. This is their new lot and they will accept it, going into next week with no confidence and could get bounced by some other lowly team. Maybe if MI's helmets weren't so ugly, the selection committee would reconsider.

Any news on Warning yet? Game time decision? Are we gonna keep him out so Downing doesn't literally take his head right off with another high hit?

We finally get to take the Little Gopher Fan to her first Gopher game tonight! Looking forward to the weekend.

While I hope you and your family have fun, I hope your team leaves miserable. Was the little Gopher Fan's first Tech game also at Yost? Perhaps she should be a Wolverine fan.

Any over/under on Downing getting ejected either game?

Come on now, Downing only has 56 penalty minutes so far in his college career.

A split increases Michigan's RPI from .5406 to .5426, moving them from being tied for 14th to 12th in the PWR. Minnesota would remain at 1st in the PWR.

The sad thing is that they actually did take their ugly helmets and go home. Check out their season thread and there actually is several of them with ongoing hockey talk. But why they waited for Thursday to do it there per our usual understanding in game threads is a bit confusing to me. They can't handle us so they retreated until we go take over that thread too.

UMn's won more games in the NCAA tournament than Michigan - 49 to 35.

UMn's won more Conf Tourney Titles than Michigan - 13 to 9.

UMn's won more Hobey Baker Awards than Michigan - 4 to 2.

UMn's gotten more former players into the US Hk HOF than Michigan - 16 to 6.

former Gophers have won more Gold & Silver Medals in the Olympics than Michigan - 9 to 0, & 7 to 3.

And if I looked it up, I am sure UMn's won more games head to head in the series than Michigan.


Michigan might as well not even show up this weekend.
