Just bored right now and poking Minny fans is a sometimes hobby for me.

UMn's won MORE Natl Titles than Michigan - 5 to 3.

UMn's been to more Frozen Fours than Michigan - 17 to 13.

UMn's been to more NCAA tournaments than Michigan - 31 to 24.

UMn's won more games in the NCAA tournament than Michigan - 49 to 35.

UMn's won more Conf Tourney Titles than Michigan - 13 to 9.

UMn's won more Hobey Baker Awards than Michigan - 4 to 2.

UMn's gotten more former players into the US Hk HOF than Michigan - 16 to 6.

former Gophers have won more Gold & Silver Medals in the Olympics than Michigan - 9 to 0, & 7 to 3.

And if I looked it up, I am sure UMn's won more games head to head in the series than Michigan.


Michigan might as well not even show up this weekend.

Edit - And I almost forgot to mention, UMn's contingent in the NHL is outscoring Michigan's contingent at higher than a 3 to 2 rate.

Wait, is that the sound you'll be making later tonight after the Gophers win the bounceyball game and knock Fichigan off to end the BADgers hope of the first B1G title? ;)

Nah, still got the Hawks against the Preds.

As far as the other results, I want my teams to win, but both should be in a pretty good spot for the post season either way.

Should be an entertaining sports night/weekend and whatever the results, I'll be feeling no pain. ;)


Just love it when we finally get to the point in the season where the games really matter in an immediately tangible way.

Yeah, not expecting the bouncyballers to win either. Not likely to catch slow-down Bo a second time.

I can't watch the Gopher bball team play. I root for them, but I can't watch them. Its too frustrating, and their coach looks like hes 8 yrs old.

Is the hockey game on Watch ESPN tonight since its on ESPNEWS for tv?

That's not how we play this season (thank God). We can actually score this year and we even shoot before 5 passes.

When it comes to hockey, there is UM and UMi. tArrogance doesn't recognize UMn.
