Off to a good start!


I've been working on a little project in preparation for this weekend and I'm proud to say it's ready to go. Many in hockey have posited that Brooks and the 1980 Olympic team were more fortunate than good. Events conspired to allow for that result and rather than a great coach, Brooks was more in the right place at the right time.

Way to hang your hat on losing to Yale. What's your problem with Bulldogs anyway? Seem to give you fits. And I think you meant tying the conference... sort of backing into it the last night. Btw -Your welcome for that.

Why the hell would I give you anything? It was IndieBAD who was on here forecasting a sweep and 4 goals a game for Bucky. Straight up for beers at the B1G tourney.

In this thread, like all game threads, things are said in jest just to mess with the opponent's fan base. Are you new to this stuff or what? ;) If you want a religious throwdown, er discussion, I'll meet you in the cafe, the 3rd table from the right on the north wall. You'll know me by what sharp object I'm holding. :)

It's hard to predict what will happen in this series. The rodents had an up/down weekend, UW was off again and was derailed from carrying momentum from the 2nd Miami game, but they have been up down all year.

I hope Besse gets back in the line-up and pops a couple on his home state. I'm just curious if the rodents had a ton of interest in him during recruiting or not.

The rodents should be fearful of Soleway, he's gonna dish out some hurt on the rodents. He's a very physical player, in a clean way, not like a sue turd or anything like that.

My hat is hung on our conference championship, thank you. Co-Champion or not, it's meaningful hardware. Taking the eventual champ to overtime is nothing to brag about, but that wasn't the objective. The objective was to question how getting blown out by a team other than the eventual champ isn't worse.

The gophers had no trouble with the Dogs on Friday, then our special teams got further exposed on Sunday. Clearly a worry, but the season is still young, as is the roster.

I don't believe so. They didn't offer him a scholarship, at least. They had their 2013 forward group filled up, and it's hard to argue they didn't make the right choices with how well our freshmen have been playing. And that's not a knock on Besse in the least.

Only a crazy person would predict a sweep on the road.

Oh I know, you give me crap all the time over on HF(at least I think it's you? :P). But I also deal my fair share so it's alright. You heard my opinion on HF as I predicted a split. But, the way Rumpel played on two saturdays ago gives me a ton of confidence in this Badger team.

This won't make too much difference for this weekend. Unless you think the team will keep the axe in the locker room to try and devine some inspiration from it. But I'd think it would be a reminder that most of the campus in WI doesn't care about what they do. So they'll hang on to it and have it make an appearance during the series in Madison. That will at least give the crowd something to cheer about that they understand.

I'm just stirring the pot actually :) Personal opinion says 3-2 goofs and 2-1 badgers.
