Minnesota hosts UMD : 11/22 & 11/24

Re: Minnesota hosts UMD : 11/22 & 11/24

Whatever happened to that whiny broad that was a Duluth fan?

Probably cleaning the kitchen or making food for someone I would imagine.

I bet she has her pantaloons in a bunch.

That was a fun game. :)

Nice win

The Gophers buried their chances and tDogs didn't, Wilcox stood tall tonight.

This Gopher team can score that's for sure.

Re: Minnesota hosts UMD : 11/22 & 11/24

Ha I was wrong I guess, Corky's kids put up more of a fight against us. Nice easy 6-1 stomping tonight, sweep time.

Fun game to watch! Way to spread the scoring. Too many penalties though.

Don claimed it was puck luck, but I'd say it was an all-around good team effort. Kind of glad we don't play till Sunday. Give UMD time to cool off being embarrassed.

Says the guy who doesn't bend the brim of his caps. Just sayin'.
Not bending your brims is what all the young people are doing baldy.

Just call me the opposite of Sylvia Browne. Thanks

UND is not good this year. Even some of their own fans have admitted so. They lost to BU tonight 3-1, and their only goal was scored with about 2 1/2 minutes left in the game.

I was being a tad facetious. The Gophers very well may lose on Sunday. Crazy things happen with such young teams.

Double post, deal with it. There was an obvious scouting report on Crandall. High glove.

Re: Minnesota hosts UMD : 11/22 & 11/24

I'm thinking that the Gophs have got to be the early favorite to run the table. They've got some amazing talent that can produce goals in the blink of an eye.

Here's a funny story. I'm headed down to Cadet Ice Arena for the DU/AF game tonight, listening to other games on my phone (BU/UND and Miaimi/UNO) as we get close to the Springs, I flip the car radio on to try to get the start of the DU game. I'm 10 miles away from the arena and I can barely pull in the signal. I hit scan and the radio lands on 1500 ESPN from Minneapolis and I hear Wally and Co calling the Gophs game as clear as a bell!

Re: Minnesota hosts UMD : 11/22 & 11/24

They might have. Picking corners is tough. These boys were able to do it tonight.
And if Lucia referred to "puck luck", that is probably what he meant. On an average night, a few of those perfect shots in the upper corner miss and the game is a little closer. But it was good to see the Gophs respond to 10 minutes of disjointed play and getting out-hustled by UMD. They took the wind out of the Dogs with those quick goals. Obviously, if UMD can keep their intensity up for a game, they have enough talent that the game Sunday should be much more of a challenge than this one was for the last couple periods.

Sylvia Browne with a flat brim...you didn't see that coming.
