SSP has won several times on Thursday while Friday night during the HS hockey tourney has always been date night in WBL. :D

Though WB Mariner did get to the Saturday night game in the early 80s. This so shocked the community they closed the school. ;)

#3 Edina (22-6) vs. Lakeville North (11-16-1), 30 minutes after end of 11 a.m. game
#1 Hill-Murray (25-2-1) vs. Eastview (18-9-1), 6 p.m.

What time does the first session on Thursday usually wrap up? How long does it take to drive from the Xcel to New Prague? We could have a bantam district game in NP Thursday night between two Edina teams each of which has a kid with an older brother playing varsity. :(

With no overtimes, ~4:30-5.
At rush hour? I'd guess ~1.5 hours. It's an hour without traffic.

I'd plan on that session starting at 1:30 or so.

I have two full class AA sets for sale face value FYI!

Kids could be playing then too. :mad:

District is double elimination, we have possibilities of playing ANY night next week (not all nights, but any). We have kids from St. Thomas and Edina on our team, we also have a bunch in Confirmation class on Wednesday night. We could play Wednesday night which will conflict with STA game and Confirmation. Our best d-man is younger brother of an Edina forward and he certainly wants to see his brother play at State.:rolleyes:

I'd be the coach to tell him not to play and go watch his brother. There's some more important things in life than a district bantam game.

STA is playing St. Cloud Apollo. They won't need to watch that beat down, I'll be happy to do it for them~St. Cloud Tech alum ;)
