Minnesota High School Hockey 2012-2013

Re: Minnesota High School Hockey 2012-2013

Got to give a shout out to Champin Park for upsetting Blaine 5-4 in the Section semi-finals. Blaine outshot them 47-19 in the game. In their previous two meetings Blaine had won 7-0 and 6-1.
Heard the Champlin goalie played out of his mind.
Marshall, who won 10 regular season games, road a hot goaltender in the weakest section in the State, makes their first appearance in the State Tournament. (Class A)
Even if it is a Duluth school, and a private school that I don't mind, I wish Denfeld could have made it to state. Blah.

Um, Marshall the city, not Duluth Marshall....

He's talking about Marshall, not Duluth Marshall. Both won last night with Marshall beating Hutchinson. I sort of wanted Hutchinson to win because they had something like six wins on the season though with both Marshalls winning perhaps they'll play each other in St. Paul and we'll all get to laugh at the announcers. Much more likely Marshall will be absolutely murdered by STA/Hermantown/Totino/EGF/Breck/Warroad/Some Peewee team brought in off the street in the first round though.

I was talking about Duluth Marshall and not Marshall. I quoted the wrong thing...

There won't be a difference between them because they'll both lose their first game.

One of these days you're going to get good at the Internet.

Heard the CP goalie had 42 saves.

Marshall will get beat worse than New Ulm has the last few years. It's going to be rough.

Ciskie tweeted he thinks largest crowd ever in Duluth for high school hockey. 6000+ watching Duluth East and Grand Rapids. 1-0 Hounds start if 2nd.

Eastview up 3-0 on Eagan after 2.

Down with STA and Hermantown tomorrow! EGF needs the #1/2 seed!

Re: Minnesota High School Hockey 2012-2013

That folks, is a classic DQ for a Check from Behind.

And the refs called a major boarding instead..

Re: Minnesota High School Hockey 2012-2013

Good luck with that.

I know it's not going to happen. EGF is not a metro team and more importantly has not been to State in 11 years, two things that will really work against the in the seeding. The best they can hope for is Cathedral to beat Hermantown, #3 seed and to get to play Marshall
