Well that period went about as badly as possible for the Rams. They look plain awful out there. Metro Lou must have a raging boner right now.

Through 14 periods, the higher seed has outscored its opponents 34-5.

Yup. The seednig system sure is providing better quality.

Edina with another goal. Lots of greasy goals in this game. Virginia beats Alex 4-3, New Ulm up 1-0 in the second over Lourdes:o

NOPE. Too much subjectivity in #1 vs. #2 most years. Too much of an advantage to be given the section 1AA team based on a popularity contest.

I'd prefer no seeding vs. 1-8 seeding.

Looks like Valley leading Blaine 2-1 after 2. Anyone watching? Blaine creating any chances? Have to think Apple Valley would be a better match-up for Edina. Hang on Eagles!

1-0 as far as I can tell. Apple Valley just missed an open net on the PP. 13 minutes left.

EDIT: about 2.5 left same score.

Aus threw out his horses too early. Bjugstad, Scheid, and Brodzinski were exhausted.

True. Rotten coaching job. But, Blaine couldn't catch a break. Threw a lot of rubber into traffic in front of the net and never got the bounce. Meanwhile the goal that Apple Valley scored was exactly that, a throw it at the net and keep working till it goes in kind of goal.
