Which is why I think they'll do it. They're going to do the unthinkable and take down the favorite..

Looking at my picks, I can like how mine were made, but I could see if only one of the two upsets in the Finals games were to happen, as sometimes there's not enough magic for two.:p

This is very good this year, with solid information and interviews from all of the 16 teams.

Well, tomorrow's the day!!! I'll be at the entire tournament, so I'll try posting updates for those who just need score updates during the week via my blackberry!

Dude from Alex wipes out during player intros. On live TV. It only could have been better if he'd wiped out the cameraman. He might just be reminded of this a few times as he get older. :D

Quite a precursor for the game itself. Alex was simply not very good, while Mahtomedi has Ben Marshall, who is very, very good.

Looking forward to seeing him in maroon and gold. :D

Game 1 is over. 7-1 Mahtomedi. Alexandria gets to check out Ridder Arena for the rest of the week.

This should be a penalty shot for Breck...

And it's not...I guess anyone can freeze the puck in the crease in the State Tourney.

Not that I'm disappointed. :)

New Ulm is not only slow physically but you can actually see their lips move when they try to make a decision.
