Re: Minnesota Gophers Season Thread: 2014-2015
Bristedt has been on a couple of different lines. C Reilly was on the third and then on the first line. Isackson played on the fourth and first. Cammy was on the first and second. Boyd has played on a couple of different lines. Warning has been on the first, second and third. This all in the last 10 games.
5mn_Major, you made me curious so I went back and looked at the line charts I've kept - 6 of the 8 home games the Gophs have played so far. Here are the forward line combinations from those 6 games:
1st Line
10/25 18-07-24 (Bemidji State)
11/07 18-07-24 (Notre Dame) – 22 out with injury
11/09 18-07-24 (Notre Dame) – 22 out with injury
11/14 18-07-24 (MN-Duluth) – 22 out with injury
01/02 11-07-21 (Merrimack) – 18 & 24 out for World Juniors
01/03 11-07-21 (RIT) – 18 out for World Juniors
Summary: Rau has centered the 1st Line all 6 of these games, with Bristedt and Fasching on wing until the World Juniors, when Warning & C. Reilly were moved up from the 2nd Line.
2nd Line
10/25 11-25-13 (Bemidji State)
11/07 11-25-13 (Notre Dame) – 22 out with injury
11/09 11-25-13 (Notre Dame) – 22 out with injury
11/14 11-25-13 (MN-Duluth) – 22 out with injury
01/02 13-25-19 (Merrimack) – 18 & 24 out for World Juniors
01/03 13-25-24 (RIT) ) – 18 out for World Juniors
Summary: Kloos has centered the 2nd line for all 6 of these games, with Warning and Cammarata at wing until the World Juniors, when Cammarata was switched from RW to LW.
3rd Line
10/25 21-22-17 (Bemidji State)
11/07 21-19-17 (Notre Dame) – 22 out with injury
11/09 21-19-17 (Notre Dame) – 22 out with injury
11/14 21-26-17 (MN-Duluth) – 22 out with injury
01/02 15-22-17 (Merrimack) – 18 & 24 out for World Juniors
01/03 15-22-17 (RIT) ) – 18 out for World Juniors
Summary: Ambroz has been the 3rd line constant over these 6 games, at RW. Boyd was out of the lineup due to injury from 11/1 to 12/5.
4th Line
10/25 09-26-19 (Bemidji State)
11/07 15-26-09 (Notre Dame) – 22 out with injury
11/09 15-26-09 (Notre Dame) – 22 out with injury
11/14 29-15-09 (MN-Duluth) – 22 out with injury
01/02 29-26-09 (Merrimack) – 18 & 24 out for World Juniors
01/03 26-19- -- (RIT) – 18 out for World Juniors; 9 out of the lineup (?)
Summary: Isackson has centered the 4th line for all but one of these 6 games, when he was moved up to 3rd Line center to replace the injured Boyd on the 3rd line. R. Reilly had played wing on the 4th line for 5 of these 6 games, but has not been in lineup since the Jan. 2nd game against Merrimack (not sure if he’s been injured or not).
Overall Summary: Losses due to injury and World Juniors have disrupted all four lines, but it would appear that the coaches have tried to keep the disruption to a minimum.
P.S. I very well may have missed an injury or illness or two, but can't recall the specifics. Also, feel free to add in more games from collegestats.com!
